Steven is a qualified Chartered Tax Adviser and has been working for Vantis for over seven years.
He is head of tax investigations and enquiries within the City office, specialising in the following areas:
- Accounts enquiries including capital and revenue recognition
- Individual and partnership “aspect” and “full” enquiries at District and Special Civil Investigations levels of HM Revenue and Customs
- Enquiries and investigations into Landed Estates and Rural Businesses
- Status disputes – self employed versus employed
- Statutory interpretation and individuals rights under the Taxes Management Act 1970
Steven is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales Sub-Committee on “Tax Investigations Practitioners Group”
He is also a member of Vantis' Landed Estates & Rural Businesses Group.
